COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM ACADEMY
CERT TRAINING
THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT (ACFD) offers an opportunity to participate in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training academy! Participants will complete 22 hours of CERT training over FOUR training sessions. CERT training includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training.

*SPACE IS LIMITED and attendance is required at all 4 classes. Individuals who RSVP and do not attend negatively impact course offerings and take away from others who would like to attend.
***All parcipants will be required to completed the online FEMA independent study CERT program, IS-317. Below is the link to the FEMA site to access the online IS-317 training course. You may first need to register to get a Student ID number (SID) unless you already have one. The link below should take you to the registration page. Please be sure to print a copy of your certificate of completion for your records, and either email it to us at CERT@alamedacountyfire.gov, or bring a printed copy with you to class. This needs to be completed by the last day of class, July 25.
