I was born and raised in Spiro, Oklahoma and moved to Oakland, California in 1969. We moved to Bay O Vista in 2001 and I love to enjoy the hills and the great views from our home. We had 5 daughters and one in Texas passed away in 2019. I am a Retired Registered Nurse. I worked at Alta Bates Hospital for 41 + years. My husband Charles is a Retired Iron Construction worker. We have 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
I am the chairperson on the Hospitality Committee. Raymond and I used to go and meet all the new residents and give them welcome packets before the Pandemic. Now Eric and I divide the welcome packets and leave them at the doorstep of new residents in the community to welcome them to the neighborhood.
