The Annual National Night Out (NNO) sponsored by BOVIA was held on Tuesday, August 4^th on Starview Drive.  It was a huge success with southern food catered by Nella’s Place along with a multitude of delicious entrees, side dishes, salads and desserts from our own local Bay-O-Vista residents.  Neighbors enjoyed the warm summer evening, accompanied by the fine sounds of live music provided by The Wakefield Jazz Sextet.   NNO is an important opportunity to interact with our neighbors and local members of the police and fire departments to promote social engagement and community awareness, aligned with the core goals of BOVIA.  Thanks to all that participated, especially our neighbors on Starview Drive for their active engagement and allowing us to host the event on their street, Gloria Pushwa for her creativity with the NNO signs, and the BOVIA Board, especially Linda Dana for her organization and leadership with the NNO event!
